Spa Development Manager – Shane Edwards
Twenty years ago I heard about Aromatherapy and trained with Shirley Price Aromatherapy. I am also qualified in Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Reiki. I am currently voluntering for the local NHS in Palliative Care.
My passion for organic products and holistic treatments has grown with my deep rooted care for people. Understanding the importance of the therapeutic value of the ingredients that we apply to our precious skin, and of what value they are to our wellbeing, has increased my belief in “why alter the way in which nature works?”
A frequently asked question now, is “HOW TOXIC IS YOUR SPA”? 100% organic skincare products enter and leave the body, with great efficiency leaving no toxins behind and leaving no damage to the environment.
My work, at Spiezia, is to ensure that both good health and wellbeing is available from spas, through the use and understanding of 100% organic products and holistic treatments. Training and knowledge ensure a deeper understanding; enlightening the therapist, and therefore the client, to the value of a skincare regime that is ‘MADE FOR LIFE’.
Spa Development Co ordinator – Joanne Lynes
I have lived in Cornwall for the majority of my life. After leaving school I attended Falmouth Art College and gained a GNVQ3 in Art and Design and went onto work for a local printing company.
In 2000 I took some time out and went travelling. On return from my travels I re-joined the print industry. It was at this time I decided I would like to explore different avenues, and my passion took me to Holistic Massage. I am now an ITEC Qualified therapist in Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and Indian Head Massage.
In June 2008, I joined Spiezia, as a Spa Development co-coordinator and now have the best of both worlds. I still carry out Holistic Massage Treatments and my love for customer service and support still carries on.
I have a real passion for my vocation and Spiezia Organics. As a therapist I need to believe in the products I use within my treatments and Spiezia Organics ticks all the boxes. The products are full of rich essential oils and every ingredient within the product serves a specific purpose. Care and attention to each product has been taken and this care and attention should be passed onto our clients.
My position provides me with the opportunity to relay the Spiezia Organic ethos and philosophy to therapists, to make therapist aware of the importance of our unique products within treatments – as one therapist to another.
